23w0d

How far along? 23w0d or 57.5%
Total weight gain/loss: +10 pounds
Size: Papaya or large Mango! He is more than 11 inches long now and over 1 pound.
Baby Development: He can feel me dance, that means I need to dance more :)  His sense of movement is well developed now and soon we should be able to see him squirm under my skin. Blood vessels in his lungs are developing to prepare for when he starts breathing outside the womb. Loud noises like Shiloh barking and the vacuum cleaner are becoming familiar and probably won't faze him after he arrives.
Movement: Yes, I feel him move all the time...nothing external yet so Joe is still *patiently* waiting to feel a kick!
Food cravings: McDonald's breakfast is back with a vengeance, it's is all I can think about lately.
Food aversions: None.
What I miss: Jimmy John's, alcohol, my jeans (haven't bought maternity ones since I doubt I'll wear them much this summer)
How I'm feeling: Bloated...I put on a pair of brown heels this morning that I haven't worn in a few weeks...holy crap, my feet have grown...they were way too tight, had to switch to the flip flops I had in my car. I know it's not professional but I'm going to be wearing flip flops from now on so I don't ruin my good shoes! I'm also not too far from retiring my wedding ring to it's new temporary home in the jewelry box, I hope I'll see you again by Thanksgiving!!
Milestones/Best moment this week: My sister in law gave us two paper Target grocery bags FULL of boys clothes this week. We had run into one of her co-workers at a "Just Between Friends Sale" back in April...she said if we were having a boy to let her know, she has 2 boys (the youngest born last November so the seasons are perfect for us!) and is done...and was just itching to purge some clothes. She brought them to Melinda this week, yay! So between my garage sale finds and the newest stash below, we have a great start of clothing.

And now for the baby bump:
After work today, I'm heading to Stanley for the weekend with my brother for Father's Day...and I'm SO looking forward to the deep fried cheese curds (it's the rodeo weekend), YUM!! Joe is staying here and spending the weekend with his Dad and brother, they plan to go golfing and fishing and probably some other boy stuff I have little to no interest in doing ;)

Have a great weekend!
