We had a such a great but very busy weekend. It started out early on Saturday. Mason and I were up at the crack of dawn to get ready for city wide garage sales in Elk River. We headed towards Melinda's house at 7am and met up with her, Brandy and Wanda so we could get there at 8am when they opened. We shopped til we dropped that morning and all scored some awesome deals. I got Mason a bunch of 18M and 24M/2T clothes...can you believe my 8 month old son will be wearing these sizes this summer and fall?!?! It's so hard to see these HUGE clothes and picture him in them. I also got a like new Children's Place winter jacket for $2. I had bought a winter jacket on clearance in February but got the 18M...the 2T looked SO big at the time. But the way things are going, I'm worried it might not last the whole winter so now we should be covered. I also bought some legos, blocks and the best garage sale find in a while...I got this car for a steal...and Mason absolutely LOVES it. He can't get enough of this car and when we stop, he rocks back and forth, trying to get it to move again. I see many miles in this car in the next year.

Mason and I got home mid afternoon and then we got ready for my parents to come to town. They were coming over to watch Jim run in the Minneapolis Marathon. He was participating in the Relay with three of his high school friends. So we got up at 5am again so we could be downtown for the 6:30am start. The boys did great and all beat their expectations for the day.
And they are off!
There was a team who dressed in all hockey gear...
Mason chilling in his stroller...
Getting ready for Chris to arrive for the handoff...
Here he goes!
Go Jim Go!!
Mason loves this thing. He just figured out he can bounce in it and goes crazy, now that his feet actually touch the ground.
With Pam, Jim and Ryan looking on LOL...
What are you doing with that thing?!?
So serious...
Quit taking my picture Mom!
I love to make messes for Mom and Dad to clean up...
